Synopsis: When spies get fired, they don’t get a letter from human resources, they get a “burn notice.” Thus begins a new action & suspense original series from USA Network. “Burn Notice” stars Jeffrey Donovan (“Touching Evil,” “Hitch”) as Michael Westen, a spy who has been given a burn notice — he’s been fired from his job and has to investigate who did it to him and why. Series also stars Gabrielle Anwar (“The Tudors,” “Scent of A Woman”) as ex-lover and IRA spy Fiona, Bruce Campbell (“Evil Dead,” Army of Darkness”) as Michael’s only friend and former spy himself, Sam, and Sharon Gless (“Queer as Folk,” “Cagney & Lacey”) as Madeline, Michael’s hypochondriac mother. Stuck in his hometown of Miami, a place he never wanted to return to, Michael Westen is now cut loose. With a Burn Notice attached to his name, he has no idea what or who triggered his demise; with his ex-girlfriend and his old partner, Michael is determined to find out the reason for his sudden termination. Unable to utilize his normal contacts and needing to stay under the spy network radar, he puts his Special Ops training to use to help those who the police can’t or won’t, in order to fund his ongoing personal investigation.

Synopsis: Dr. Jordan Cavanaugh is a forensic pathologist who lost her job with the Boston medical examiner’s office because her passion for solving homicides frequently extended beyond the autopsy table. Years later, an old ally rescues Jordan from court-ordered anger management training in Los Angeles and rehires her to her former job in Boston. Jordan is still feisty and mercurial and a pain in the butt, but management tolerates her because she is good at her job. She and her father, a disgraced former Boston police detective, often solve crimes together by using a role-playing game they’ve played since Jordan’s childhood. It goes: “You be the killer, and I’ll be the victim and we’ll figure out how this happened.” The driving force in Jordan’s life and career is the crime she took the longest time to solve — her mother’s murder. Synopsis: Civilian test pilot Steve Wagner is a national hero, but not everyone admires …him. His old flame, Joanne Raphelson, is about to publish a tell-all book that details the abuse she endured during their relationship. Wagner can’t let Joanne’s story get out, so he pays her a visit. He makes her one of his signature drinks, a “Spacewalk,” and adds a little something extra: a powerful dose of barbiturates. When her housekeeper arrives the following week, she finds Joanne hanging from the ceiling with a noose around her neck. Captain Stottlemeyer, Lieutenant Disher, Monk and Natalie go to Joanne’s house to investigate. It appears to be suicide, but the captain and Monk spot some clues that point to murder.

Meanwhile, Miss Parker convinces Broots and Sydney in helping her find the answers to her mother’s death and believes Kyle may be the key. Finally, Jarod gets the opportunity to reunite with his family, including his sister. But The Centre becomes aware of the rendezvous and intends to stop it.
