Burn Notice Films in Miami

Gov. Jeb Bush announced Tuesday that the pilot for a new Fox Television drama will be filmed in Miami.

The one-hour program, Burn Notice, will begin filming Nov. 28. If picked up, more episodes will be filmed in Florida, Bush said.

“The film and entertainment industry is a vital component of our economy, and we are committed to growing the sector and attracting more productions to our state in the future,” he said.

The series being produced for the USA Network stars Jeffrey Donovan, who plays a spy fired by the Central Intelligence Agency who uses his training to help others in trouble.
